Settings

Audit Management β†’ Definitions β†’ Settings holds the company's templates for the two documents an audit prints: the audit report and the closing summary. It has its own permission (Audit Settings), apart from the audit type's.

Which template is used

  1. The audit type's own template, if it has one β€” see Audit types.
  2. Otherwise the template uploaded here.
  3. Otherwise the built-in template.

A template applies to documents published after it was uploaded. A report already published keeps its look until the audit's closure is approved again.

Making a template

  1. Press Download Default Template next to the document. You get the built-in template as an Excel file, with a Fields sheet that lists every field you can use.
  2. Change it as you need: add your logo, form number and revision to the header, rename or shorten column headings, delete the columns you do not want, add others.
  3. Upload it in the field on this screen (or on an audit type) and save.

An upload that is not an Excel workbook (.xlsx, .xls) is refused.

Fields

A field is written {{Name}}, the same way as in document and FD2 report templates; {{Name_Value}} writes the raw value instead of the formatted one. A cell can mix text and fields (Audit: {{AuditCode}}).

A field of a list β€” {{Findings.Summary}} β€” makes its row repeat: the row is copied once per item, and the rows below move down, so several tables can sit one under another. Put all of a table's fields on one row. The Fields sheet is not printed.
