Task Summary Cards

The first screen you see when opening the Dashboard shows a summary of your tasks. The colored cards help you see at a glance how many tasks you have in each stage.

Task Summary Screen

Status Cards

At the top of the screen, there are 5 different colored status cards:

Pending Works

Pending Works Card

This card displays all tasks that have been assigned to you but haven't been started yet. These are tasks waiting for your action to begin. The number on the card shows exactly how many tasks are in your queue waiting to be worked on. This is typically where new work requests, maintenance orders, or other assignments appear when they're first created and assigned to you.

Work In Progress

Work In Progress Card

This card shows tasks you have actively started working on but haven't completed yet. When you click "Start Work" on a pending task, it moves to this status and the timer begins tracking your work time. These are your current active assignments where you're spending time and effort. The number indicates how many tasks you're currently juggling and actively working on simultaneously.

Completed Works

Completed Works Card

This card represents all tasks you have successfully finished and marked as complete. These tasks have gone through the full lifecycle - from pending, to in progress, to completion. The count shows your productivity and accomplishments over time. Completed tasks serve as a record of your work history and can be used for performance reviews, time tracking analysis, and workload planning.

Information

Information Card

This card contains tasks that are primarily for informational or notification purposes. These are typically announcements, policy updates, training notifications, or other communications that require your acknowledgment but don't involve active work. While they may not require the same hands-on effort as work tasks, they're important for staying informed about organizational changes, safety updates, or procedural modifications.

Cancelled Works

Cancelled Works Card

This card shows tasks that have been cancelled or terminated before completion. Tasks can be cancelled for various reasons - they may no longer be needed, priorities may have changed, equipment might be unavailable, or the work request may have been superseded by a different approach. Cancelled tasks provide valuable data for understanding workflow changes and help track which types of work requests are frequently cancelled, which can inform future planning decisions.

Using the Cards

Each status card serves as both an information display and a navigation tool. When you click on any status card, the dashboard automatically filters the task list below to show only tasks in that specific status. This allows you to quickly focus on a particular type of work - for example, clicking the "Pending Works" card will display all your unstarted tasks, while clicking "Work In Progress" shows only the tasks you're currently working on. The filtered view makes it easy to prioritize and manage tasks by their current state.

Real-time Updates

  • Cards update automatically every 20-30 seconds
  • Immediate updates when you perform actions (start, pause, complete)
  • Live counters show current status

Quick Tip: Use the cards as your main navigation - they give you the fastest overview of your workload!
